Dissolution of the Self

This is the first series of paintings that I channeled after doing multiple smaller paintings that are in the “Messages” gallery. These are all acrylic on canvas. The first two and last two paintings are 28″ x 60″ and the remaining five images are 48″ x 60″.

Dissolution of the Self, is to prepare you to receive more messages and information from Source.

Preface: The purpose of Introspection

To experience growth, we must break down the ego that has been created by and reinforced by the “rational” side of ourselves.  Looking inside of yourself, inside your soul will bring you into the shadows and when done with intention, can lead to growth.

Chapter 1: The first steps of Introspection The realization that you have an “inner self”, or “inner voice” is the first step of introspection.  Recognizing that there is something to peer into is key to beginning to understand how the universe works.  Awareness starts the process of introspection.  The process of introspection is a lifelong cycle of experience, learning and integration to facilitate growth.

Chapter 2: Intention in Introspection

To dissolve the ego, you must have awareness of the ego and with intention, begin to probe the depths within yourself.  You will find the light and the dark and with intention you can shine light into the darkness and encourage the light within to grow stronger.  Growth can come from both positive and negative experiences.  What matters is the intention behind your responses to experiences that can facilitate growth and reshape your reality.

Chapter 3: Dissolution of Anger, Fear and Hatred

The experiences we have in life sort of create lenses that we continue to experience reality through.  Things like our upbringing, educations, politics, religion, social influence, etc.  These lenses cause us to focus our attention on certain directions in very narrow fields of view.  It’s like wearing blinders or looking through a telescope. This narrows the experience of our reality.  Some of those lenses can create fear, anger or hatred in our experience.  These lenses tend to be very narrow in their field of vision and if allowed to will have a negative influence on our reality.  Such as “living in fear of…” or “I hate…”.  Through the use of introspection with intention, not self-deprecation, we can widen the lenses’ aperture and will allow for more light to shine through.  This widens your view of reality, giving you a more positive experience.  The intention here is important.  Look inside and be aware of what you feel, how you feel it and explore “why you feel that way” or in some cases “what” makes you feel a certain way.  You should not, however, be self-deprecating.  Self-deprecation can have the opposite effect of introspection and lead to more fear, anger and hate.

Chapter 4: Dissolution of Shame, guilt and remorse

The “lenses” of shame, guilt and remorse can often have very narrow views and impact your experience of reality in a negative manner.  Left unchecked, these lenses can cause such narrowness in someone, that they begin to experience only a tiny portion of reality.  It’s like looking at the world through a pinhole.  Again, your upbringing, religious system, social constructs etc., have a strong influence over the aperture of the lens.  Being aware of these lenses and acting with intention will allow for a wider view and a more positive experience of reality.  These lenses are situated deeply within the self and take time to reach and careful intention to open since they are so deeply rooted within the self.

Chapter 5: Determination of the truth within the self Once you have become aware of the fear, anger, hate, shame, guilt and remorse that resides within your ego, you are able to find the truth about who you really are and what your true self really means to you.  Opening the lenses wider and allowing more light into the darkest parts of yourself can reveal who you truly are.  It is only by being aware of all of ourselves, the light and the shadows, can we really see ourselves.

Chapter 6: Actualization and acceptance of self

After widening the lenses and allowing the light into the shadows, we can see the truth of ourselves.  Your true nature.  Once you recognize and accept this truth as a part of you, you can actualize it into your reality.  I am I; it is who I am.  I am one part of the All and the All is a part of me.  The dark, that light, and all in between are all parts of the self.  They must all be integrated into yourself to be complete and whole as a part of the All, as a part of Source.

Chapter 7: Integration of the Self

Once acceptance and actualization of the true self has taken place, you must integrate this new true self into your experience of reality.  This integration is a crucial step.  Even if it does not feel like it is working, keep going, integration of the true self is an ongoing continuous process and will lead to positive growth in your experience of reality.

Chapter 8: The experience of gratitude

The true nature of yourself has been accepted and integrated into your experience of reality.  A key factor for keeping well-grounded and maintaining the integration of your true self, is through the expression of gratitude.  This process helps the light within, continue to grow and when you express gratitude towards others, you add your light to their reality and hopefully the continue the process and spread light to the next person and so on and carry that light to more and more people.  This continuous process will grow the light in all aspects of your reality so that you have a more positive experience in your reality.  Gratefulness for what and who you are and what you experience, lead to thankfulness of who you are as part of the All.  This process of gratitude is an ongoing continuous evolution of experience and learning about the grace within yourself.  A key component of a full life and the expression of Love.  A pillar of enlightenment as you incorporate all of your truth into the self as part of the All.
