I spent many years as a firefighter in Dekalb County, Georgia. I really enjoyed the work and the camaraderie with my Brother and Sister firefighters. For about a year after I was promoted to Captain, I was assigned to headquarters and I had my own response vehicle and was allowed to carry my camera to document what our agency did.
