I have been fortunate enough to experience sever solar eclipses during my life and during the last eclipse, I decided to try something a little different. In previous eclipses, I have always been fascinated by the shadows created. So, during the last eclipse I took a piece of white foam core and placed it on the ground under the tree in the front yard. I had to work quickly as the eclipse was pretty short and we were in a zone that only had about 90% totality. I am already looking forward to the next eclipse so I can expand on this on going series.
